Summed up.

I'm a fusion bellydancer and FCBD® Certified teacher with knowledge in MENAHT and Oriental dances and strong roots in academic music. Founded Purani, Numaras, Tribaleuse and Hafla y Jam. I write, talk, produce and think about bellydance and it's fusion. My favorite book is "Free Play" from Stephen Nachmanovich.

The long way

I particularly enjoy regular basis classes, and that's how I spent my formation, learning in detail among my instructors. I worked with my teachers Paula Lena and Noemi Martinez Giovanetti the last 10 years, both in classes as in productions, two main artists of the southamerican MENAT scene. Also worked along with my colleagues Long Naja, Alba Marina Gemma and Alejandra Uriarte, fusion and bellydance teachers, and Ana Harff, photographer activist in Buenos Aires. Although that didn't stop myself of attending different certification courses, including the Partner Studio of FatChanceBellydance® status in 2015, the re certification in 2017, and the Anar Dana training project of Helene Eriksen. In order to complement my style I also dabbled in classes of Flying Low, Dancehall, Tango and Modern Dance.

I started studying music in 2000 at the Alfredo Luis Schiuma Conservatorium, from where I've got my Medium Diploma in Music Education. These studying years were very important to me and impacted my dance and teaching skills in the best ways possible.

Bellydance classes started and, moved by curiosity, I jumped in. It was the time when everyone wanted to move like Shakira, while dancing to Tarkan tunes. I was dedicating myself entirely to oriental dance. My regular formation with the formerly ATS® and Tribal Fusion Style became with Emine and Myrna, then continued through international courses with worldwide teachers.

Nataraja Lila, Dancers South America, Aywah! Bellydance Co, and La Nouvelle Tribal are some of the projects I've been part of in Argentina, Chile and Brazil. Also directed two groups of advanced students, Numaras (since 2016) and Tribaleuse (since 2010). When the festival mania started in Argentina I had the honor of participating in many recognized pioneer events and presentations like Opa! Fest, Rara Avis, Aywah!, Congresso Tribal Sulamericano, not only as a dancer and director, but most of them as a teacher. In 2009 a jewelry passion started so I founded Purani.

During this journey I took classes with several renown teachers as Carolena Nericcio, Rachel Brice, Mardi Love, Ariellah, Mira Betz, Sharon Kihara, Kami Liddle, Olga Meos, Dominika Marco, Manca Pavli, Tiana Frolkina, Lamia Barbara, Rachael Redfern, Devi Mamak, Tjarda van Straten, Angelica Bresanin, Sonia, Steven Eggers, Jeremiah Soto, Elsanne Barrows, Sharon Kerr, Jill Parker, Samantha Emanuel, Cera Byer, Kristine Adams, Anita Lalwani, Sera Solstice, Bex, Miriam Peretz, Heather Stants, Natalie Nayun, Mariamira, Michelle Sorensen, Rebeca Piñeiro, Ashley Lopez, Cibelle Souza, Iman Najla, Tamara Plotz, Paola Jara Vilches, Valerie Romanin and Helene Eriksen.

I produced and organized the visit of Tiana Frolkina (Saint Petersburg) and Polina Shandarina (Moscow), and also hosted classes with Aida Jorda (Spain), Rebeca Piñeiro (Brazil), Cibelle Souza (Brazil) and Mariana Quadros (Brazil) in Buenos Aires.

Bestiario, Cuadros de una exposicion, La mostra nostra, Reum, AvantGarde Bellydance I and II were the final recitals the students and I presented from 2012 till 2019. And because we do like to show but we also like to share, Hafla y Jam started to happen in 2015: a party for bellydancers celebrated for over 16 editions and still counting.
